Dear FCC Families,
A group of dedicated FCC volunteers met on Sunday, January 15, to review the results of our membership survey and to brainstorm the future of our organization. Our group included parents from Baltimore and Frederick as well as Harford, Howard, Anne Arundel and Montgomery counties; high school, middle school, elementary, preschool and waiting parents; new members and old. Our conversation was thoughtful, creative and productive. We will be sharing our findings and recommendations in the next few weeks.
In the meantime, we need to let you know that, after much discussion and evaluation of the obstacles facing us and the definitive lack of response to our efforts to involve new volunteers in leadership roles, it was decided that it is not feasible for FCC Maryland to host a Year of the Rooster Celebration.
We are providing you with the following list of regional activities in the hopes that your families will attend one or more of these wonderful events. Please consider including other FCC families in your plan making.
